After the Non-Conventional Energy and Efficient Energy Management Fund (Fenoge) announced in July 2022 that it had selected 10 green and blue hydrogen projects to finance its initial phases, now it is known that he decided not to proceed.
(Read: What is included in the new policy to regulate the energy service).
At the time, the winning projects of the More Hydrogen Colombia call were informed that they would receive $6.570 million for early phases such as pre-investment studies.
However, with the arrival of a new management at the Fund, Portafolio learned of a report from the end of last year in which it was decided “lrelease the value approved for this Afpei (Development, Promotion, Incentive and Incentive Activities)”.
According to Fenoge “it was found that most of them (Afpei) required a deeper and more detailed knowledge of the hydrogen market, particularly in the identification of supply and demand.”
(In addition: Government appoints two of the six expert commissioners of the Creg).
For this reasonthe Fund considered it necessary to modify the call to adjust a series of details. Within these are the description of the need, the scope, the main activities, the schedule, the flow of funds and the cost-benefit relationship.
The winners of the call were Vatia, Busscar de Colombia, Energal BioGas, Solenium, H2Nostrum, H2 Andes, TE H2, Solar Colombia and the University of Antioquia.
