Madrid, Spain.- A new feminicide shocked in recent days the residents of the Cruce del Coco neighborhood, in the city of Holguín, where a man murdered his wife in full public road and seriously injured his daughter, a minor who remains hospitalized.
The fact, occurred in broad daylight, was initially disseminated by the page of Facebook realities from Holguínwhich explained that the author of the crime – identified as Miguel – assaulted his partner for “personal problems” and fled after committing the murder. In his escape, he also attacked the victim’s daughter, and caused severe injuries.

The aggressor was captured shortly after by a joint operation of the Ministry of Interior (Minint), the National Revolutionary Police, the Technical Investigation Department (DTI), the Special Brigade of Holguin and troops from the neighboring province of Camagüey, with the support of the population, indicates the official information.

Despite the official speeches about “zero tolerance”, macho violence continues to charge lives on the island without still an integral law against gender violence.
