Fernando Alves Ferreira, a confessed femicide in Argentina, during the accusation control hearing, claimed to perceive himself as a woman to avoid being convicted of that crime.
The man facing charges for triple aggravated femicide in Bariloche told the court that he has perceived himself as Amanda since his adolescence.
This case for which he is accused was registered on February 16, 2022, in the vicinity of Lago Escondido, located approximately 25 kilometers from downtown, in the Circuito Chico area of the city.
The first reports show that Alves confessed to having shot Eduarda Santos de Almeida six times, which caused her death, there he was accused of femicide until he decided to change his version of his gender perception.
Despite this, the judge said that the accusation for femicide was accurate, so Alves will go to trial.
