New case of femicide: "Tatu'i" was released from prison and stabbed his partner to death

Prosecutor Pedro Duarte presented accusation against Mauro Romero Castro (56), who would be responsible for the commission of the punishable act of femicide, where it resulted victim his partner.

The background of the case reveals that the event occurred on April 9, in the San Isidro neighborhood of the city of Santa Rosa Misiones, where Romero Castro attacked his 50-year-old concubine with a kitchen knife.

The man he stabbed her in the cheek, in addition, he inflicted eight wounds on her chest, four wounds on her left arm, three on her right arm, as well as stabbing her in the left forearm.

The victim was taken to the District Hospital of the city of Santa Rosa Misiones, from where she was referred to the Regional Hospital of San Juan Bautista Misiones, where finally passed away.

According to the medical diagnosis, the woman died due to severe hypovolemic shock and bilateral hemopneumothorax due to penetrating trauma to the bilateral chest.

In this regard, the prosecutor requested that the Criminal Court of Guarantees order the pretrial detention of the accused.
