Ferroviária took the lead in Serie A1 of the Brazilian Women’s Championship after thrashing Athletico-PR by 4-1, this Friday (14th) at the Caju Training Center, in Curitiba, in the match that opened the 7th round of the competition.

With the triumph, Guerreiras Grenás reached 18 points, two more than Corinthians, who dispute the classic with Palmeiras next Monday (17) at Parque São Jorge. The team from Paraná, on the other hand, remains with four points, in 12th position.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 18th minute of the first half with Raquel. The home team even rehearsed a reaction with a goal by Thayslane at 32 minutes. But Ferroviária was back in front a minute later with Camila. After the break, Guerreiras Grenás confirmed the triumph with goals from Laryh and Aline Gomes.
Another team to add three points this Friday was Atlético-MG, which overcame São Paulo by 1-0 at the Castor Cifuentes stadium thanks to a goal by Ludmilla. After the third consecutive victory in the competition, the Avengers took the 6th position with 12 points.
