Through decree 878/2022, published in the Official Gazette this Friday, the resignation of Felix Crous as head of the Anti-Corruption Office (OA), a position he had held since 2020.
Before that, the official He worked as head prosecutor of the Institutional Violence Prosecutor’s Office (PROCUVIN). Upon his arrival at the Anti-Corruption Office, Felix Crous adopted several measures that generated great controversy.
The last of these occurred this year, when Felix Crous resigned as a plaintiff in the Highway case, a case in which Vice President Cristina Kirchner was recently sentenced to six years in prison and disqualified from holding public office.
Likewise, in May 2020, it withdrew the agency from its role as complainant in the “Hotesur” and “Los Sauces” cases, where the vice president and her children, Máximo and Florencia, were also prosecuted.
At the time, the lawyer pointed out in this regard: “These are cases that revolve around money laundering crimes and, for that, there is the Financial Investigation Unit. Thus, I do not share the reasons why, at the time, the OA became a complainant. The courts erred in accepting it.”
Through the Official Gazette published this Friday, the Government thanked cross for the work carried out during his administration: “thank the resigning official for the valuable services rendered in the performance of his position”.
For now, the causes of the official’s resignation were not specified; However, it is expected that in the next few hours the Government will announce who will be replacing him.

Besides of OA holderin the last hours, it was known that Victoria Donda, will not continue in her position as controller of INADI (National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism).
Although the decision would have been made by President Alberto Fernández, who would not renew Donda’s contract, she maintained: “because I am convinced that institutional responsibilities are stages of a more extensive and comprehensive path in the life of every political militant that truly aspires to modify realities that hurt, is that today a cycle is closed”.
