The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Felix Cheroassured that he has already complied with all the steps that correspond to his office to comply with the judicial resolution that ordered the return of daniel soria as state attorney general.
Along the same lines as the statement issued by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, he reiterated that he signed the supreme resolution that he sent as a proposal to the President of the Republic, peter castle.
“I understand that he must be in his (Pedro Castillo) office. He went yesterday because the resolution was just given yesterday”he specified in statements to Successful this Thursday.
“I am respectful of the rule of law, of the Constitution. For my part, since yesterday I already did the whole procedure, so for my part, Mr. Soria tells you that you should be very calm”he stated.
Félix Chero concluded by assuring that he respects the judicial mandates that are res judicata and the precautionary measures such as the one issued by the Judiciary in favor of Soria.
“Mr. Soria, whom I respect as I respect all professionals, went to the attorney’s office yesterday to say ‘here is the resolution, answer me’. Is this how justice works in our country? It is a public body, there is a legal formality”he warned.
Daniel Soria pronounces
In statements to RPP, the lawyer Daniel Soria assured that he took the statement from the Ministry of Justice on Wednesday “in good faith”, which is why he did not present any brief before the constitutional court.
However, he questioned the fact that the resolution announced by the Executive was not published today in the legal regulations bulletin of El Peruano.
“I would not like to understand that lying is a common work methodology in the Government […] It is very serious that in a State this methodology of lies continues. What are we going to do? Ask the judge to apply the consequences of the Constitutional Procedural Code that range from fines, complaints and even requests for dismissal “he insisted.
