Madrid. The former president of Mexico Felipe Calderón Hinojosa did not attend what was to be his first major public act as a speaker at the conference Atlantic Dialogue for Democracyconvened by the ultra-conservative foundation Instituto Atlántico de Gobierno, headed by former Spanish president José María Aznar, and whose mission is to train cadres to adopt neoliberal and conservative public policies in Latin America.

Since García Luna’s sentencing, Calderón has not participated in any public act. He was last seen last Saturday at Aznar’s 70th birthday party, at the Teatro Real in Madrid.
On Thursday, Calderón published a message on his Twitter account in which he implies that he met in London with the former president of Colombia Iván Duque, but that appointment was two days ago, according to his peer’s social networks.
