During four operations, the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (Felcn) managed to apprehend seven people and seize two buildings, four vehicles and more than 400 kilos of cocaine. The total affectation was more than a million dollars.
The Government Minister, Eduardo Del Castillo, indicated that the most relevant case was called “surprise” and it took place this Tuesday in a house on Germany Avenue, between the seventh and eighth rings. In the place, 12 bags were found that they contained 822 packages with 377 kilograms of purified cocaine.
For this reason, a 39-year-old man with initials JEMP was arrested, who was in the raided property and had contradictory statements about the controlled substance. In addition, 10 cell phones, a 22-caliber firearm, two trucks were seized and the house was sealed.
Del Castillo said that only in this operation affected drug trafficking with 901,365 dollarsafter accounting for the drugs and assets seized by police officers.
The second operation was carried out in the area of the Bimodal terminal, where two suspicious persons were searched and eight covered packages were found in their backpacks They contained 8 kilos with 270 grams of cocaine base. Both were apprehended and identified as Rosmeri Delgadillo Taquichiri (33) and Losmar Organo Guzmá.n (38).
The third intervention was carried out between the 3rd and 4th rings of Bush Avenue, where a Toyota Noah van with hidden compartments was found, which inside they had 20 packages with 20 kilos 450 gramss of cocaine. For this reason, its occupants named David Mamani Balderrama (26) and Alfredo Mamani Marca (46) were arrested.
The last operation called ‘Bugatti’ took place in a home located between the 8th and 9th ring road of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, where 43 kilos with 800 grams of cocaine hydrochloride were found. In this case the property was seized, a van and Luis Gutiérrez Menacho (52), and José Luis Gonzales Pinto (53) were arrested.
Minister Eduardo Del Castillo assured that with the four operations se affected 1,156,836 dollars to drug trafficking.
