Felcn finds 32 drug packages sent as parcels on four buses

In a single day and on four buses controlled by antinarcotic Agents, 32 brick-shaped packages of drugs that were shipped as parcels in cardboard boxeswere seized after a routine check at the checkpoint in the town of Motacucito, in the municipality of Puerto Suárez.

The buses that were heading to Puerto Suárez were controlled by the members of the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (Felcv), leading to find the cardboard boxes in the luggage rack of four interprovincial buses.

The interventions were carried out last week. ANDThe first seizure was made in one of the buses and it was found two cardboard boxes containing nine packages rectangular, the same ones that were hidden in the middle of clothing. After the field test that tested positive for cocaine, weighing 9 kilos with 250 grams.

In the second controlled bus, part of the parcels was also opened and a cardboard box was found with five rectangular packagestesting positive for cocaine base paste and a total weight of 5 kilos with 850 grams.

On the same day and at the same checkpoint, another cardboard box was seized with eight packages wrapped in an ovoid shape, of different sizes. These subjected to the field test, gave positive results for marijuana, making a total of 4 kilos 650 grams of the seized substance.

And finally, on one last bus 10 packages were seized with a whitish substance that was in the part of parcels. Tested positive to cocaine, making a total of 10 kilos with 350 grams of cocaine hydrochloride seized.

Agents from the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (Felcn) are investigating who sent the drug and to whom it was directed.
