“That is political violence, wishing death to the political adversary and to those who think differently shows a lot about how they would like to govern a country. Today I represent some ideas, so they want dead all those who follow my ideas? That is very serious what they have done, and they do not reject it, they promote it”, he added.
Said “All I want is for the country to live in peace. While we ask that the lives of Colombians be preserved, they are inciting violence, hatred, even to death.”
He insisted that some politicians who are part of Gustavo Petro’s campaign are doing a lot of damage to the country by promoting these ideas among the citizenry.
“It makes me sad to see how these politicians who have done so much damage to the country and want to set it on fire, now they are taking ideas to children, young people and communities so that they wish us dead, what I want is the opposite of what they want, no more hate, no more class hate speech, “he said.
The presidential candidate insisted that his goal is to unite the country and put aside hate speech.
