According to the PF, two search and seizure warrants are being carried out in Campo Grande (MS).

In the scheme investigated, a recruiter contacts lottery employees offering the opportunity to obtain financial gains. However, in order to have these benefits, the employee must enter false data into the lottery’s systems to allow fraudsters to practice embezzlement against Caixa Econômica Federal.

Historic

The investigation began on April 1 of this year, and around 80 false data entries were identified in the lottery system.

The name of the Persuasion operation refers to the way in which the recruiters act, trying to convince the employees of the lottery houses to participate in the fraudsters’ activities.
