Querétaro, Qro. The federal administration will analyze projects to be implemented in the entity, in terms of mobility, water, energy, among others.
In that sense, this Sunday the federal cabinet held a meeting with the state cabinet, to analyze projects for the state, explained the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, when visiting Querétaro.
“Before arriving at this meeting with the people of Querétaro we had a meeting between the cabinet of the government of Mexico and the cabinet of the government of Querétaro; What is the objective? The actions that we are going to develop in the following years for the benefit of the inhabitants of Querétaro, we are talking about mobility, water, and energy works that benefit the state of Querétaro,” he explained.
The president explained that the governor, Mauricio Kuri Gonzálezasked the Federation for support to consolidate projects regarding water supply and electricity.
Previously, Claudia Sheinbaum announced that The feasibility of the energy transmission project will be studied that the state administration has proposed; He added that if it is viable the federal government will authorize it, however, he highlighted that it is a new financing model that must be analyzed.
The energy project will be discussed with the Secretary of Energy, Luz Elena González, and with the director of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE)Emilia Calleja Alor.
“The governor has a project to expand transmission capacity, the secretary of energy and the director of CFE are coming today to see the feasibility of this project because there is a private investment part, we are going to review the viability and study it; The idea is that if it is feasible to immediately give the authorizations for this to happen. It is a new financing model, that is why we have to analyze it,” he said.
And with the director of the National Water Commission (Conagua)Efraín Morales López, initiatives regarding water will be addressed.
This Sunday the president visited the municipality of Querétaro, where she announced the start of the preliminary work for the construction of the Mexico-Querétaro passenger train.
He also visited the state to analyze challenges and generate commitments that will be made public once the defined projects and investment amounts are available.
“Today we come to the train, but also to define what the priority projects are for the governor’s next three years and, for us, the next six years,” he said.
In addition to the passenger train project, he added, it is planned Support in the development of infrastructure works in the entity.
When referring to the Querétaro International Airport (AIQ), he highlighted that the strength of the airport system in the center of the country will be analyzed.
