Fedecámaras Bolívar demands that the authorities normalize the dispatch of fuel in the entity that has worsened since the end of 2022, worsening even more during the months of March and April 2023
The president of the Fedécamaras in the entity, Austerio González, expressed that the dispatches every two days and by plate do not benefit the economy of the region at all, which was already badly hit after years of contraction and pandemic by the covid-19 .
“We closed December 2022 with a 35% drop in sales compared to December 2022, and this fuel shortage is of no benefit to recovering the economic dynamics of our state,” said the union leader, reported Caroni Mail.
The Fedecámaras Bolívar spokesperson said that, in the first quarter of 2023, sales have decreased by 20%, compared to the first three months of 2022, which is partly due to the precarious situation of the gasoline supply.
He added that the supply of fuel per license plate is only a palliative, and that “the solution is to have daily dispatch without limitations, since both businessmen and individuals are trying to normalize their daily and work activities.”
