The Panamanian Baseball Federation confirmed this morning the realization of the National Championships U15 and U12 in central provinces and for the month of March, as explained by the Administrative Manager Esteban Carrasco.
“We will have the U15 National Championship to start on March 12 and until the 19th of the same month and the U12 Tournament, to be played between the 19th and 26th of the same month,” said Carrasco.
Both tournaments will be played in central provinces.
Teams from all sports provinces (12) will participate in the tournament, divided into two groups, where they will play a group round of all against all, the best two of each group advance to a semifinal in crossing and the winners to a final by the crown of the category.
Panama is getting ready to carry out its national tournaments in both categories and then participate in the international events scheduled for U12 and U15 at the World Championship level and continental qualifiers.
In the U15, the qualifying tournament will be played in La Guaira, Venezuela from June 3 to June 12 and is a qualifier for the U15 World Cup in 2022, which has no venue or assigned date.
In the U12 Panama already has a place in the World Cup in Taipei, Taiwan from July 29 to August 7, but it must play a qualifier that grants a place to the U12 World Cup in 2023.
