The Special Fund for Agricultural Development (feda) delivered 90,000 thousand coconut plants of high quality to the associations and producers of the regions:
- enriquillo
- Valley
- Northeast
These deliveries are with the aim of promoting the recovery of this crop and reinforcing the agricultural tradition of the communities.
The plants with a value of more than 21 million pesos were delivered by the director of the feda, Hecmilio Galvanin events that took place in places such as the auditorium of the Technological Catholic University of Barahona (Ucateba) and the Samaná town hall.
