The director of Special Fund for Agricultural Development (FEDA), Hecmilio Galvan, announced that by order of President Luis Abinader, this body will give financial and technical assistance to agricultural producers Y ranchers Hato Mayor province, in the east of the country.
Galván toured the municipalities of Yerba Buena, Sábana de la Mar and El Valle, in each of which he met with producers affiliated with associations and cooperatives.
In these meetings, the official informed the agricultural producers that President Abinader authorized the FEDA to provide technical and financial assistance to promote and enhance productivity in that province and the rest of the eastern region of the country.
He also met with representatives of the ranchers who manage the Hato Mayor dairy processing plant, to whom he offered financial assistance to re-launch the modern plant and have it work at full capacity.
The director of FEDA He also held a meeting with students and producers from the regional center of the UASD, in Hato Mayor, where he announced the implementation of several projects, including one for livestock and another for aquaculture, so that students and teachers are inserted into the production process and serve as platform to your knowledge.
Galván reported that “we are taking a tour at a time when the province, which is also mine, is changing and I have precise instructions from President Abinader to promote its development so that its socioeconomic life system changes.”
