Deputies of the Frente de Todos (FdT) questioned the legislators of Together for Change (JxC) on social networks for not having given a quorum to hold the session where there was going to be an attempt to convert the pension moratorium project and the creation of eight universities into law, among other initiativess.

The president of the Education Commission, Blanca Osuna (FdT), published on Twitter: “Today we live the sample of the JxC lobby with the mafia powers. They do not want the Chamber of Deputies to work and legislate.”

And he pointed out that “they say no to the creation of universities, to the social security moratorium, to health programs that were part of today’s work agenda.”

Previously, when speaking in the minority session, Osuna pointed out that “The creation of universities facilitates not only the right to education, but to federalize the opportunity for knowledge and development of our communities.”

The parliamentary secretary of the FdT bloc, Paula Penaccaindicated on the same social network: “Once again, the JxC opposition did not give a quorum for us to meet. Meanwhile, thousands of Argentines are waiting for the law of the Pension Debt Payment Plan to be sanctioned to be able to access The retirement”.

For his part, the president of the Welfare and Social Security commission, Marisa Uceda, He also stated on Twitter that “as we said at the time and we say it now: the JxC agenda does not have the people as a priority, it is not relevant to them that thousands of Argentines can retire. They are always consistent to be against the expansion of rights and the happiness of the people”, he criticized.

The deputy of the FdT and member of the Piquetero Movement, Juan Marino, He said on social networks that “Together for Change did not give a quorum to the session called to discuss the creation of 8 national universities, the Pension Debt Payment Plan (known as a “moratorium”), and the Rental Law.

“The right is anti-rights,” he asserted.

While, the legislator of the FdT and the Classist and Combative Current, Juan Carlos Alderete, He denounced that “this decision by Macrismo and his followers does not harm the FDT, but rather affects all Argentines.”

The deputy for the City of Buenos Aires Leandro Santoro He highlighted: “Full grandstands and the opposition benches are empty. And this is so because today it was a social security moratorium and the creation of 8 public universities. When it comes to expanding rights, the right does not come.”

“Now you can go to Lago Escondido to spend the summer guys,” Santoro completed.

The deputy and member of the Judicial Council, Vanesa Siley, He affirmed that “once again the JxC block did not give a quorum to meet, but who is harmed by this action? It is important that society knows the consequences of this irresponsible act.”

“Today we were going to discuss the creation of 8 National Universities, 5 in the province of Buenos Aires. This allows thousands of young people to have access to education. That they can study, progress and be better,” he explained.

He also posted on Twitter that the pension moratorium project would have allowed “more than 700,000 people who are already of retirement age to complete the years of contributions through a payment plan, and thus be able to retire. 1 out of 10 are women”.

The ruling party of the Chamber of Deputies failed in its attempt to hold a session today to discuss a set of initiatives, despite having proposed expanding the agenda of the plenary, given the refusal to provide a quorum and enable debate by legislators from Together for Change (JxC) and other blocks.

The Frente de Todos (FdT) had promoted the special session to debate the creation of eight Universities and the Social Security Moratorium project, so that some eight hundred thousand people who are of the same age or are close to the same age and have thirty years to go can retire of contributions.
