The police siege of the dictatorship of Daniel Ortega persists against the father Uriel Vallejo, parish priest of the Divina Misericordia church, in Sébaco, who is in the parish house of the Infant Jesus Chapel in Prague.
The police siege against the priest has persisted since the night of Monday, August 1, when agents from the Police’s Directorate of Special Operations (DOEP) raided the temple and attacked parishioners who came to support the priest Vallejos.

«We continue to be guarded, here we are; We only have to ask the Lord for strength. Thank you for his prayers. Do not leave me alone! », Was the request of the Catholic hierarch to his parishioners through his Twitter account.
Appealing to his religious faith, the parish priest stated that “the Virgin of Fatima is accompanying us.” In addition, he reaffirmed that “there are many riot police inside the chapel, outside and in the school. Strength everyone!
According to images released by the Divina Misericordia parish, where the bells rang as a warning signal, dozens of parishioners came to the place to defend the facilities and equipment of Radio Católica, but were repelled by the police with shots in the air and tear gas.

Earlier, Father Vallejos reported that workers from the Nicaraguan Institute of Telecommunications and Post Office (Telcor) came with “notification of the closure of Radio Católica de Sébaco, daringly wanting to enter the radio station’s facilities. He was not allowed.”
Human rights defenders and opposition groups have condemned the attack, arguing that “Ortega discharges hatred and revenge against the Catholic Church”.
The Human Rights Collective, Nicaragua Never Again, affirmed that the violent and illegal action of State agents is part of the persecution against the Catholic Church, “with which hatred and revenge are discharged because said Church is firmly committed to the population oppressed by a state of terror that for more than four years has maintained a systematic persecution with serious violations of human rights and crimes against humanity.
Father Vallejos has become another target of the dictatorship of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo, who has launched a “hunt” against Catholic leaders, imprisoning priests Manuel Salvador Garcia Y Jose Leonard Urbina, accused of common crimes
