“Today here in Acapulco I have received a great signal, I am going to work throughout the country, I want to be president of Mexico this 20-24, I will try and we will go with everything,” said the legislator.
In her social networks, the businesswoman and federal deputy Patricia Armendáriz also announced her intention to compete for the Presidency.
Since last year, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador assured that in Morena there are no “covered”, for which he enlisted six men and women who may be the candidate of the movement he founded: Claudia Sheinbaum, head of government of the Mexico City; the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Ebrard; the Secretary of Energy, Rocío Nahle; the head of Economy, Tatiana Clouthier; the Mexican ambassador to the United States, Esteban Moctezuma, and the Mexican representative to the UN, Juan Ramón de la Fuente.
The candidate for president of the Republic in Morena, the second in the history of the party, will be chosen through a poll, a method that does not convince all those who have expressed their intention to participate in the internal process, such as the leader of the senators from Morena, Ricardo Monreal.
