After four days of police and paramilitary siege against Father Harving Padilla, Article 66 learned that the prelate is sheltered in the La Purisima Seminary, in Managua.

The jurist explained that the priest “at this moment is recovering strength. He is not in exile. We hope that the persecution of the Church will end once and for all.
This media outlet learned that Padilla will not continue as pastor of the San Juan Bautista church in Masaya, and that he is expected to relocate to another parish in the country.
