Father from the US would have ordered the murder of mother and daughter in Surcubamba to avoid paying pension

The tax investigation formulated the thesis that Emerson Meneses Gutiérrez (23), a resident of Idaho, United States, had ordered the murder of his daughter and the teenage mother in Surcubamba, Tayacaja, to avoid alimony.

According to a protected witness, Meneses coordinated with her family in Peru, and on October 15, the young woman was summoned by the minor’s paternal grandfather. In the Linda Huaycco area, mother and daughter were strangled and their bodies abandoned in raffia sacks.

For this crime, the Mixed Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Surcubamba obtained nine months of preventive detention for Raydo Córdova Prado (27), while Robert Córdova Meneses (20), his alleged accomplice, remains a fugitive.

The Public Ministry continues the proceedings to determine the participation of Meneses, identified as the intellectual author of the double homicide.
