Rafael Simón Orozco Castillo (43) was detained by agents of the cicpc after being accused of committing sexual abuse against his 14-year-old daughter, a police source reported.
For this fact, José Simón Orozco Heredía (21), brother of the adolescent and who also allegedly abused her, was also arrested, according to investigations.
The sexual violence against the young student had been taking place for a year and a half inside the family residence, located in Esmeralda alley, Ojo de Agua, Las Minas de Baruta, Miranda state.
The Orozcos were arrested last Thursday by agents attached to the Division of Investigations of Crimes Against Women, Children and Adolescents of the Cicpc, in response to an arrest warrant processed by Yvismar Zapata, Prosecutor Hundredth (100) in Matters of Violence in the Area Metropolitan of Caracas.
To process the complaint, the Public Ministry ordered that the victim undergo psychological evaluations and legal vaginal-ano-rectal medical examinations. The report states that the sexual abuse was continuous.
The evaluation also found that the father and son threatened to kill the girl if she commented on what had happened.
The detainees were presented before the Second Court of Control, Hearing and Measures with Competence in Matters of Crimes of Violence Against Women of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas, whose head accepted the accusation made by the Prosecutor’s Office, decreed deprivation of liberty and ordered their confinement in the Center Metropolitan Yare III, located in the Simón Bolívar municipality (San Francisco de Yare), Miranda state.
