Miami, United States. – Cuban writer and humorist Jorge Fernández was He denounced on Facebook That this Monday was intercepted by police and state security agents, forcibly conducted to a police unit, then transferred to two health centers to manage a “certificate of injuries” without their consent and finally notified of an imputation for “resistance” with precautionary measure of house seclusion.
According to his story, this Monday he left his building at 2:10 pm and, three blocks later, in Santa Emilia corner to Rabbi, he was intercepted by a patrol car with two police officers (a woman and a man) and “a security agent.” He affirmed that, after questioning the “’routine’ procedure (requesting the identity card)”, it was introduced “by force in the car”. He said he shouted at the neighbors: “I appointed me Jorge Fernández was! I is illegally stopping! I have not committed any crime!”
The writer assured that he was handcuffed and that he remained “almost half” of the detention time inside the patrolman “under the sun”, which described as “torture”: “Let’s see, ‘Justicieros de la Revolution’, isn’t that torture?”.
He also said that, after his transfer to the Infanta and Manglar Police Unit, he was taken by force to the Polyclinic Girón to make a “certificate of injuries”. He pointed out that the Polyclinic doctor claimed that it was “impossible” to do it “because it did not have models”, and that they subsequently transferred him to Miguel Enriquez hospital, where a doctor “from some Latin American country” asked him “if he had any injury.”
Fernández was said that the “Agent Evelio” called him “crazy” or being “under the effects of ‘chemical’”And he expressed fear for an eventual assembly to intern or incriminate him.
