Agrarian Cooperatives of the Central Jungle came to the Regional Government of Junín to demand a budget for their production. Other producers from the mountains and jungle who had the opportunity to move to the GRJ accessed the economic benefit, however, those who were further away were not considered.
According to the leaders, they were not considered because they were far away and they did not go to the GRJ, a fact that they consider discrimination, since they presented all their completed reports to the governor. “For all the cooperatives it was approximately 4 million, but they only designated 2 million, and they are farmers who can come on a trip, but we, who are days away, cannot arrive”explained the leader.
Farmers demand the budget since they are in the most critical and decisive months for their products; they need the money to implement modules for fertilization, fertilization and flowering. Some farmers requested their funds on loan with the confidence that the bonus would arrive, but now they are hurt.
