During the development of the security table, in the plenary session of the Great Congress of the Historical Block, the deputy and vice president of the special commission for the defense of the territory of Guayana Esequiba and the Territorial Sovereignty of the National Assembly, William Fariña, called attention to the current strategies of hegemonic actors and the international extreme right that seek to generate conflicts in various parts of the world, through strategies of manipulation of information and people’s minds.
He indicated that these same actors are the ones who constantly try to destabilize the Bolivarian revolution; However, he highlighted that the people of Venezuela as legitimate heirs of “the Caribs, we are a people resistant to the aggressions of our enemies, capable of organizing, and rising up to fight, in short, we are a history of resistance, of insurgency , of combats, and of independence”
In his speech, broadcast on VTV, Farinas stressed that “we are facing a multiform, hybrid war, that of the fascists,” while highlighting the need for the organized people, through the communes, the communal councils, the communities, and the peace quadrants, establish fighting strategies to guarantee the sovereignty and peace of the nation.
Finally, he emphasized that there is no cognitive war capable of stopping either the people of Venezuela or the Bolivarian revolution.
It is expected that important proposals will emerge from this table that will contribute to generating mechanisms for the protection of the homeland against external threats.
