At the meeting, they examined the execution of joint projects, taking important steps to strengthen bilateral ties in various spheres, according to a press release from the MPPRE.

Caracas and Moscow also agreed to continue strengthening coordination on foreign policy in various multilateral formats, with the firm intention of creating a more just and democratic world order, based on respect for the principles and norms of international law.

The Ministers strongly condemned illegal unilateral coercive measures used as a tool to interfere in the affairs of sovereign States.

For its part, the Baltic giant ratified its support for the efforts of the authorities of the Bolivarian country to strengthen political and economic stability in the nation.

A high-level delegation from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, headed by the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Affairs, Carlos Faría, arrived in Moscow on Tuesday to participate in the International Forum of the Russian Energy Week 2022, which will be held from October 12 to 14.

In this 2022 edition, the Forum will include discussions on the development of the electric power, oil and gas, chemical and coal industries, as well as topics related to import substitution, digital transformation, energy transition and the situation around climate problems.

Organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Ministry of Energy of the Eurasian country, with the support of the Government of Moscow, the Russian Energy Week Forum has been held since 2017 and has become the most important energy efficiency event. in the international arena.

In 2021, the Forum brought together 2,500 participants from more than 80 countries, while the business program included 32 events with 204 speakers.
