Dajabón.- The retired Brigadier General of the Dominican Air Force (FARD) Teófilo Pérez Peralta (Shulindo) was transferred in an ambulance helicopter, who was shot this Thursday morning at his farm in the “La Patilla” community of this municipality border, due to an alleged land litigation between relatives.

Due to his serious condition, the helicopter had to make an emergency landing in the city of Santiago, due to complications in his state of health while they were flying to the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces where his relatives were waiting for him.

According to the reports and the images that appear in videos that were recorded by communicators present at the scene, the bullet wounds were produced by a group that shot him.

Journalists who were at the scene collected the wounded body of the former military officer and took him in a small car to the emergency room of the Matías Ramón Mella Hospital in this city, presenting several bullet wounds in different parts of the body and stab wounds. , Machete in the knees, face and legs.

Witnesses present at the scene said that the attack was caused by a conflict in a land mine, to extract aggregates, in which the wounded man showed the journalists present the documents that endorse him as the owner of the land and that they are being used by the aggressors for the sale of stuffing material.
