The Ministry of Defense reported that intersectoral work continues to address the emergency. Prevented, for the moment, from continuing aerial work, The Peruvian Army, together with the Volunteer Firefighters, has been providing assistance by land to the critical sectors of Las Lagunas and El Porvenircarrying out intensive work days to control the spread of the fire and minimize its impact on the population and the environment.
The Air Force team is on constant alert, waiting for weather conditions to become favorable to resume air operations and collaborate to extinguish the fire in Cajamarca.
