This Tuesday, July 23, the Minister of Mines and Energy, Andrés Camacho, took possession of Fanny Guerrero Maya as the new expert commissioner of the Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission (Creg).
The official acknowledged that One of its main challenges will be the issue of energy rates in the Caribbean region, stressing that he will work to make them efficient.

Fanny Guerrero Maya is Electrical Engineer and Business Management specialist, and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Technological University of Bolívar.

During her professional career she has held positions such as manager of the Bolívar Urban Development Company, president of the Caribbean Hydrogen Energy Association, vice president of Promotion and Development of the National Mining Agency and manager of the Caribbean Energy Company.

Also He has been a professor at the Pontifical Javeriana University and the Technological University of Bolívar.
