More than five thousand young Venezuelans have recently registered in the Educational System of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), specifically in careers linked to health sciences, said Minister of Popular Power for Defense, General in Chief Vladimir Padrino López.
“More than five thousand young people come to the Military Academy of Medicine as a strong, consistent action of the national education system, and that accompanies the great military vocation,” said Padrino López, underlining the commitment of the new generations with the defense and development of the nation.
The chief general evoked the figure of Commander Hugo Chávez, when he cataloged his entry to the FANB as a crucial moment for the country. “One who knew him as a cadet struggled as a military leader, with that flow of cross feelings in the mind and heart, with a historical knowledge of Venezuelan and world processes,” he said.
He also highlighted one of the most admired qualities of the commander: his ability to give the example in command and driving, which made him a reference for generations of military and civilians.
Similarly, the military headline said that thanks to the Bolivarian revolution, deep reconfiguration has been achieved in Venezuelan military life, with a more human approach, integrating and committed to the Civic-Military Union.
With this new wave of young people, joining the military academies, Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to a national defense based on training, historical awareness and commitment to sovereignty.
