Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) seized, in the state of Zulia, 8,145 kilos of vegetables and fruits of Colombian origin, which were entered into the national territory without the proper permit, reported the head of the Fanb’s Operational Strategic Command, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through a message published on his Instagram social network account, the senior military officer detailed that the food, which was transported in a heavy-duty vehicle, was detected by the uniformed officers in a verification carried out at the citizen service post in La Redoma del Conuco, Santa Cruz parish, Bolivarian municipality of Colón, Zulia. There, citizens Aldanis Atencio Pirela and Alis Alberto Sánchez were arrested.
Likewise, he pointed out that this action is part of the Bolivarian Shield Strategic Operation “Iron Hand 2025” against smuggling.
The vehicle was also seized
The detainees were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
