Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) seized this Friday 30 pans of marijuana and one of cocaine from Colombia and belonging to the Colombian Armed Drug Trafficking Terrorist groups (Tancol), in the state of Táchira.
The information was released by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, who specified: “In PAC La Tendida state of Táchira, the FANB seized thirty (30) marijuana panelas and one (01) panela. of cocaine from Colombia.
He explained that the drug panels were “hidden in a secret compartment of a vehicle. Our country will not be a drug trafficking route !!”.
Likewise, through a Bolivarian Shield patrol deployment, on the banks of the Orinoco River in Bolívar state, 1,700 kilograms of marijuana were seized.
«FANB seizes 1,700 kg of marijuana from Colombia, which was intended to be taken to the Atlantic. We will not be a drug trafficking route or platform !! », stressed the Head of Ceofanb.
Hernández Lárez reiterated that the FANB will continue to guarantee the country’s independence and “we will not allow violations of our sovereignty.”

On the other hand, the Ceofanb Commander reported that through a patrol, explosive devices were detected this Friday in the Páez municipality of Apure state.
“Reconnaissance and surveillance patrols detect improvised explosive device in the Páez municipality. We will continue to clean our territory in defense of the sovereign people!!”, he referred.
These actions carried out by the FANB have the objective of definitively expelling the narco-terrorist groups from the national territory, complying with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who called for the decree of 2022 as the Tancol’s free year.
