Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detained in Nueva Esparta a boat carrying 2,600 liters of fuel, diesel type.
The information was released by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, who through his account on the social network Twitter indicated that after the procedure – a maritime patrol – they arrested seven citizens who were going to aboard the vessel, for fuel smuggling.
It also added that the case was placed under the order of the Public Ministry for the corresponding investigations.

Given these procedures, the Chief of the Ceofanb ratifies the deployment of the FANB troops to guarantee the fight against drug trafficking and maintain peace in the country.
