FANB patrols the border between Apure and Guárico

Officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) are deployed on the border between Apure and Guárico, to curb the crime that occurs in these plains areas.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, the Operational Strategic Commander (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez, indicated that these security patrols aim to cut off “criminal activities” faced by the population.

Evacuations continue in National Parks in Amazonas

On the other hand, Hernández Lárez reported that the deployment in the state of Amazonas is maintained to carry out the voluntary evacuation of the people who are in the National Parks of the state of Amazonas.

“The evacuation and eviction operations of the population of the National Parks in the state of Amazonas continue, where all types of human activity are prohibited as they are considered areas under special state security administration. It will not be possible to carry out illegal mining activities that are predatory to the environment, ”he wrote on the social network.

In this regard, the Ceofanb commander stressed that it is the task of the military to protect the border axes of the entity in the south of the country, and thus “return to calm illegal mining activities carried out without permission and arbitrarily in protected areas.”
