FANB neutralizes hostile aircraft in Falcón

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) neutralized a hostile aircraft in the state of Falcón, a procedure in accordance with article 3 of the Control Law for the Integral Defense of the Airspace, reported the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernandez Larez explained that to carry out this procedure, the deployment of means was carried out aerial of combat.

«#FANB deploys air combat means and neutralizes HOSTILE aircraft in Falcón, in accordance with Art. 3 of the Control Law for the Comprehensive Defense of the Airspace. It lacks a flight plan, a disconnected transponder and is not authorized by the national agencies,” published Hernández Lárez.

Likewise, Hernández Lárez emphasized that the neutralized plane lacked a flight plan, a disconnected transponder, and was not authorized by national agencies.

FANB active in defense of sovereignty

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) remains active protecting all the aquatic, terrestrial and air spaces of the country, to guarantee respect for the sovereignty of the Venezuelan territory.

By December 2022, the FANB had shot down a total of 42 illegal aircraft through the Integral Aerospace Defense Command for violating the Control Law for the Integral Defense of the Airspace.
