The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that in the full exercise of national sovereignty, an aircraft that illegally and furtively entered the nation’s space with the transponder off and without authorization was intercepted and immobilized.
Through his Instagram account, Hernández Lárez detailed that within the framework of the regional air interoperability treaty between Latin American and Caribbean countries, the military force verified that this aircraft, which came from the Caribbean Islands without a flight plan, headed to the south of the national territory.

Next, he indicated that “Venezuela is a land of Peace! We will not allow the violation of our national sovereignty, we are not a platform for transnational drug trafficking, we do not produce, process, or consume narcotic or psychotropic substances!”
Finally, he highlighted that with this operation there will be 21 disabled aircraft in 2025 and 412 since the implementation of the Airspace Control Law.
