The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) carried out a citizen security deployment, to protect and safeguard the citizens of the country, in addition to ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
In the Apure state, deployments were carried out in all the municipalities of the Llanera entity, as in the case of Páez, Rómulo Gallegos, Muñoz, Achaguas, Biruaca and San Fernando, in which a perfect popular-military-police fusion was maintained.
«We will carry out this security deployment to guarantee the peace, security and tranquility of the population of our glorious state Apure. Let us deploy ensuring safety and compliance with current legal regulations. Let us respect the rights of citizens. “Let us continue to be guarantors of peace, tranquility and sovereignty,” said the commander of ZODI No. 31 Apure, G/J Daniel Galarraga.
Additionally, military officials were deployed in the Central Maritime and Insular ZODI No. 73; ZODI Miranda Guarenas-Guatire Axis; Strategic Comprehensive Defense Region (REDI) No. 8; Metropolitan Area of Maracaibo, Zulia; Urban Security Detachment in Táchira; five operational axes of Mérida, among others.
