More than 30 Tancol explosive devices were located in the La Ceiba sector, Apure state by military personnel from the Rapid Reaction Unit (URRA), in joint work with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
The explosives were located in a structure belonging to the Colombian Armed Drug Trafficking Terrorist groups (Tancol).
The information was released by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez. Through his account on the social network Twitter, he explained that “in the La Ceiba sector of the Páez municipality, Apure state, URRA of the Militia locates the TANCOL structure with more than 30 explosive devices and other supplies.”
“FANB will continue fighting drug trafficking and paramilitarism in our cross-border axis”, he stressed.
Patrols against the Tancol
Hernández Lárez highlighted that in the state of Zulia, the FANB carries out patrols with URRA units, in order to detect and combat the Tancol groups in the national territory.
He explained that the patrolling carried out day after day is part of the Bolivarian Shield operations of persecution and expulsion against the invading groups.
“FANB patrols our national territory day after day to dismantle the structures and traps left by the TANCOLs during their withdrawal from our national territory, after the Bolivarian Shield operations of persecution and expulsion against these invading groups,” he said.
In this sense, Hernández Lárez reiterated that “Venezuela is peace territoryof justice and law.”
Likewise, he stressed that the FANB will remain in a frontal combat against drug trafficking, “we will not allow the invasion, nor the flagrant violation of our geographical space.”
It should be remembered that the actions carried out by members of the FANB are framed in the order given by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to declare 2022 as the year 100% free of Tancol groups Throughout the national territory.
