FANB locates military weapons and drug Tancol in Zulia

This Wednesday, the members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) located military implements and two marijuana pans belonging to the Armed Terrorist Drug Trafficking groups of Colombia (Tancol) in the state of Zulia.

On the other hand, the Anzoátegui Rapid Reaction Unit on reconnaissance patrol located a Tancol structure that functioned as an assembly center for explosive devices, 60 kilograms of gunpowder and explosive components were collected.

«Collecting 60 kg of gunpowder and more than 40 explosive components. Hurry is ours !!”, Hernández Lárez specified.

The head of Ceofanb indicated that in Falcón state the Cacique Manaure operation continues to be developed for the destruction of illegal runways.

Similarly, the Catatumbo Lightning operation continues to search for and destroy illegal Tancol camps and runways, he said.

These operations are deployed in the border territory, to definitively expel these terrorist groups from the national territory and comply with the request of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who asked to declare 2022 as the year free of the Tancol.
