Within the framework of the Binational Operation Peace Zone No. 1 “Catatumbo Lightning,” members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) destroyed a camp attributed to the National Liberation Army (ELN), an irregular organization from the neighboring country that is on the list of Tancol groups, that is, Armed Terrorists, Colombian Drug Traffickers.
Details of the procedure were aired on the Instagram account of General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez, who is in charge of the Strategic Operational Command of the Fanb (Ceofanb).
This infrastructure was located in the La Culebra sector, Bari parish, Jesús María Semprún municipality (Casigua-El Cubo), Zulia, where the military seized a 5.56 mm caliber MP-15 model rifle with a magazine; 8,200 cartridges and bracelets alluding to group 33 of the ELN.
