Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López said Friday that Venezuela is ready to raise the level of cooperation and communication with the Colombian military and police forces.
During a meeting with the Military High Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Padrino stressed the importance of combating drug trafficking and other problems that exist on the border in Colombia and Venezuela.
“We are ready to raise the level of communication and cooperation with the Colombian Military and Police Forces to face the transnational crimes generated by drug trafficking, armed groups and smuggling, among others.
