As part of the security and defense of national parks and forest reserves, the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) has disabled more than 60 motors and rafts, used by irregular groups that attack the vegetation layer to the detriment of the environment.
This was reported by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his account on the social network Twitter, in which he indicated that attacking the environment goes against “the territorial legal system,” For this reason, the FANB is constantly on patrol, preserving the country’s natural reserves.

Faced with this operation, the head of the Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez, explained that the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela establishes the protection of the environment as a right and duty, for which reason the FANB continues to carry out patrol work to dismantle camps illegal.

FANB deployed in national parks
The Bolivarian National Armed Forces remain deployed in the different national parks and forest reserves of the country, in order to protect the environment against groups that commit ecocide.
In this sense, the Chief of the Ceofanb stressed that the FANB dismantled illegal installations of the Guiana Trainwhich they used to practice the mining illegal.
«#FANB Deployed in the natural parks and forest reserves of Guayana, in execution of security, defense and environmental protection plans, it dismantles facilities of the Guayana Train. Structures for arms, drug trafficking or illegal mining purposes will not be allowed,” said Hernández Lárez.
The Chief of Ceofanb stressed that the FANB will continue to implement security plans in defense of the environment, genetic resources, and ecological processes.
“Through security and defense plans, the State will protect the environment, biological diversity, genetic resources, ecological processes, National Parks, Natural Monuments and other areas of special ecological importance, against deforestation and mining,” added Hernández Lárez. .
