Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) engaged in a confrontation in the El Páramo sector of Valle de la Pascua, Guárico state, with members of the Structured Organized Crime Group (GEDO) “El Antonio”.
This was reported by the operational strategic commander of the FANB, G/J Sunday Hernandez Larezwho detailed that at the scene of the incident the uniformed officers seized two 9 mm caliber firearms, which were requested; a motorcycle also requested; as well as 19 AR-15 rifle ammunition and 96 FAL .762 X 51 caliber ammunition fired by said GEDO against the military commission.
He also reported that two individuals identified as Juan Eduardo Arevalo, alias “El Pate’ Monstruo” and Riximar Anaís Machuca were killed in the procedure.
“The Venezuelan State fights daily against groups that generate violence that affect the peace and tranquility of the population and maintains an active deployment to exercise national sovereignty and territorial integrity in a democratic State of law and social justice,” the high-ranking military officer stressed through his account on the social network X.
It is important to note that Hernández Lárez pointed out that this procedure was placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
