The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) expressed in a statement its condolences for the plane crash that occurred on Wednesday in El Hatillo, Miranda State, in which three military died.
“The Bolivarian National Armed Forces expresses its deep regret against the unfortunate plane crash that occurred on Wednesday, January 29 of the Corrientes, when a Cessna Citation 550 plane, acronym YV3561, attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Interior Relations Justice and Peace, rushed To land, specifically in the El Volcán sector, between Baruta municipalities and the Miranda state hat, ”he said in the letter.
It details the text that the aforementioned aircraft was piloted by Lieutenant Colonel Henner Alejandro Perozo Espinel, who together with the first Lieutenant José Alejandro Almazán Barragán (Copiloto) and the Sergeant Major of Second Eduardo Rodríguez (machine manager), lost their lives tragically.
“We are enraged and saddened the irreparable loss of these valuable military professionals, who in faithful fulfillment of their duty, offered their lives in acts of service for the integral defense of the nation. In a unfortunate moment like this one that afflicts us today, we raise prayers to the Almighty God to relieve the penalty of their family, friends and companions of arms, reiterating them total solidarity and unconditional support. How did the accident occur?
According to a report of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) The aircraft “made a checking flight, in which routine verification tasks of operational processes were carried out.”
The ship hit the mountainous area known as the volcano, causing a fire in the vegetation of the low area of the volcano, which activated the response of the security and rescue bodies.
Civil Protection officials, El Hatillo Police and the CICPC attended the site to coordinate the rescue and control of fire.
