The information was released by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez. Through his account on the social network Twitter, he highlighted that the military were on missions of dismantling, patrolling, reconnaissance, scrutiny, by land in the sector of the “La Bulla” mine, said Hernández Lárez.
“Within the framework of #OperacionAutana2023 (Yapacana National Park) in missions of dismantling, patrolling, reconnaissance, scrutiny, by land in the “La Bulla” mine sector, four (04) camps were located and dismantled in the “Mina Nueva” sector, coordinates (03° 38′ 48.04″ N- 66° 49′ 31.42″ W)”, he published.

In view of these actions against the environment, Hernández Lárez recalled that “according to the CRBV, Law on the environment, waters, territorial ordering, and security and defense, human activities may not be carried out in National Parks, Natural Monuments, and Forest Reserves that are in detriment of the ecosystems and the present biome”.

Likewise, the Chief of Ceofanb reported the dismantling of another camp linked to drug trafficking, located in Sucre state.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, the Operational Strategic Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces recalled and ratified the fight carried out by the FANB to eliminate the groups that practice illegal mining from all Venezuelan territory.
“In the state of Sucre, FANB dismantles a country camp linked to illegal drug trafficking activities. In the national territory there may not be facilities dedicated to human trafficking, illegal mining, drug trafficking or for arms purposes.
