The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) held this Thursday morning at the Aragua state interventions against criminal gangs, reported the head of the Strategic Operational Command (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez, through the social network Twitter.
FANB members seized two weapons of war, a bulletproof vest and other elements of military clothing, during a legal intervention carried out on one of the members of the so-called “Aragua Train” criminal and violent group present in the entity.
“In investigation work in the Valleys of Aragua, #FANB legally intervenes a subject belonging to the armed criminal group that generates violence “El Tren de Aragua”, seizing 2 weapons of war, a bulletproof vest and other military equipment,” published Hernández Lárez.
On the other hand, it also reported that a deployment was carried out in Bolívar state to dismantle camps used for illegal mining and other criminal activities.
He indicated that the Venezuelan troops will remain focused on preventing environmental depredation with the protection of national parks, forest reserves and forests.
