FANB dismantled Tancol camp that contained explosive devices

Officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) located two new structures of the Armed Terrorist Drug Traffickers of Colombia (Tancol) in the San Camilo forest reserve, in the Páez municipality of Apure state.

Through his Twitter account, the Operational Strategic Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, explained that 12 explosive devices were found at the site.

Similarly, they found 100 kg of black powder, communications equipment, cartridges, military uniforms, 800 liters of acetone, 100 kg of caustic soda, 20 liters of sulfuric acid, ovens, boilers, among others.

During the operations, in addition, another explosive device was deactivated. With this, there are already 1,900 devices deactivated, only in the Apure state.

“The FANB pays tribute to the 1TTe José de la Rosa Pérez who, as part of the combat sappers, bravely and defying danger at the risk of his life, deactivates the explosive device TANCOL No. 1,900 in the state of Apure!”, wrote the commander of the CEOFANB.

These actions against the Tancols are part of the Bolivarian Shield Operation 2022 Vuelvan Caras, deployed in the plains entity with a large contingent of military personnel from all military components.
