Fanb dismantled illegal mining camp in Amazonas

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), a list for the protection of the territory and the combat of illegal mining, carried out this action framed in the operation “Bolivarian shield Maroa 2025”, and thanks to the activation of a mixed rapid reaction unit dismantled and destroyed an illegal logistics camp, which was located in the Tabapo municipality of the Amazon state.

The FANB Operational Strategic Commander, GJ. Domingo Hernández Lárez, explained that among the seized elements are three fuel drums type gasoline, nine 13 HP motor pumps, fifteen sieve carpets, two electric plants, sixty kilograms of various foods, 350 meters of high pressure hose of 4 ″, three maraca type hoses of 4 ″, ten motor belts, two peaks and two blades, according to the press release of the CEO.

In addition, the GJ. Hernández Lárez stressed that the action was achieved thanks to the operational department, recognition and patrol work, “Venezuela is a land of peace and that to maintain tranquility in the territory the FANB is deployed in the 2,219 km the linear border with the Colombian territory,” he said.
