In a joint operation with the National Anti-drug Superintendence (Sunad), and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), dismantled a logistics center in Monagas used by the Organized Crime Structured Group (Gedo), El Viejo Colombia.
The information was disclosed by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his Twitter account, in which he specified that the procedure was carried out on the Guanipa farm, located in the Guarapiche forest reserve, La Pica parish, Monagas state.
Likewise, Hernández Lárez specified that the incursion was carried out in some 100 hectares in which the logistics base of Gedo El Viejo Colombia operated, for illicit drug trafficking.
In the operation, they seized three kilos of presumed base for cocaine, more than four thousand liters of gasoline, three boats, seven outboard motors, four tractors, and six power plants.
In addition to four AR15 rifles, another AR14, five chargers and more than a thousand projectiles of different calibers.
FANB detains foreigners engaged in illegal mining
Likewise, the Commander of the Ceofanb reported this Friday that members of the FANB detained four foreigners in the Yapacana National Parkwho were engaged in the practice of illegal mining.
“In patrolling and scrutiny work #FANB and OSC apprehend four (04) foreign subjects in the Yapacana National Park, for improper occupation and practice of illegal minery in a State security zone, attacking environmental protection, the human species and biodiversity”, Hernández Lárez published on Twitter.
“Venezuela is a democratic State of Peace, of law and of justice,” he added on the social network.
The Bolivarian National Armed Forces remain deployed in the Yapacana National Park, as well as throughout the national territory to comply with the territorial and legal legal ordering.
